Selena Gomez is Vogue Australia’s September 2016 issue Cover Girl!

It has been a busy year for 24-year-old Selena Gomez. From securing the title of most-followed on Instagram and entertaining thousands nightly on her Revival world tour, this songstress has had her hands full.

In the issue, which hits stands on August 15, the actress-cum-singer opens stars as Vogue magazine’s cove girl.

Wearing Louis Vuitton on the cover, Marc Jacobs, Gucci and Alexander Wang in a shoot photographed by Emma Summerton and styled by Sally Lyndley, the former Disney star told Vogue about her new album. She said,

“I think it was just a step in the right direction, and I’m so proud of it”

But for Gomez, it’s her career in music and film that takes precedent as she admitted that it’s taken some time for the world and media to acknowledge her work before her private life but that may be a brief inconvenience. “I figured it’s just temporary. I feel like that fortunately and unfortunately it’s where my life is at the moment and I have to accept it.”
