Bonang Matheba served as the co-host, alongside Nigerian crooner Darey Art Alade, for the 10th annual The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) held on Sunday night at the renowned Intercontinental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

As seen on her Instagram, Bonang’s evening sartorial did not disappoint, stunning in three different outfit changes.

The first look was a regal getup by South African designer Gert-Johan Coetzee, with a champagne skirt and gilded embellished bodice, with a cape effect for some added drama.

Then for some pop of colour, there was a ladylike creation by Nigerian designer Lanre Dasilva Ajayi, styled with an undone chignon. The art deco-inspired piece had a feminine floral-motif pattern.

For her final look, Bonang looked breathtaking in another Nigerian design, this time April By Kunbi. Styled with side-swept loose tresses, the black sheer longsleeve gown gave off gothic glamour vibes.

The TFAA celebrate young people between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made outstanding achievement in the year under consideration. Forbes has described the awards as the “Most important awards for outstanding young Nigerians”.

This year’s winners included Botswana’s Queen Baboloki for “The Future Awards Africa Prize in Advocacy & Activism” as well as Zimbabwe’s Kelvin Mutize for “The Future Awards Africa Prize in Community Action”.
