Leah Misika Leaves The ‘Fashion Fiend’ Show!
AFTER co-founding and being part of the 13-episode maiden season of ‘Fashion Fiend’, Leah Misika is leaving the show to focus on her fashion brand La Mode Fashions.
“It is with great excitement that I embark on new ventures with La Mode Fashions. I would like to thank all those who supported ‘Fashion Fiend’ and I hope you continue to do so under its new leadership,” she said.
‘Fashion Fiend’ focused on the Namibian fashion industry and was founded and owned by Misika and Modern Media’s Musa Kabati.
The show’s first season aired on NBC and is now available for viewing on YouTube.
“I never imagined that it would get to the point in my career and life where I had to let go of ‘Fashion Fiend’ which has been a part of who I am for a long time and as I look back on where we started, I can’t help but be filled with great pride.”
Her former partner Kabati is ready for a new journey with the fashion production, promising viewers a bigger and better second season.
“I just want everybody to be patient, we are working on the second season and will be giving them a season to remember,” he said.
Kabati will be taking over full reign of the show and plans to work less behind the scenes to take care of duties like securing sponsors and taking the production to greater heights.
“The first season of the show was pretty much trial and error. Everyone was really impressed already but this time around, we’ve covered our bases and will be able to give viewers a clearer, more crisp quality,” he said.
