#HeinekenLFDW2015’s Wanger Ayu Presents 2016 Collection “A Little Blue Life”!

The Little Blue Life collection by Wanger Ayu explores the tension between the idea of the color blue as hard and its potential to be soft and easy through textures, prints and frills, by drawing inspiration from some of the most beautiful blue things in life including the blue morpho butterfly and blue roses. There is an unmistakable Northern influence – reminiscent of the fulanis especially in the hair – further acknowledged through the styling.

According to the designer Wanger Agu “Blue is more than a color. Blue is life. Not just a mere expression, blue is a self exploration, my sober reflection of things unseen, of things believed, of chaos and calm and the things that I seek. Blue is more than a color. Blue is me.”
