What style did you apply for your collection for the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria?

The style applied are a mixture of urban, vintage and native look

What are the colours and fabrics you chose for the collection? Are the colours of the year 2015, part of this collection?

The colours selected out for the collection are a shade of blue ,purple , black , creme, Arsh, yellow and white; the fabric used are known as wosted wool, velvet , damask, jacquard, knitted ,paisley check, tweed ,plain white cotton , satin , corduroy and gold fabrics.

What were the challenges of designing your collection and what did you do to overcome the obstacles?

Well after designing the collection was indeed challenging; starting from the point of sourcing for unique materials to suit the designs and having to get them after a through search then we come up with our unique design that hasn’t been created by any designer “tassle suit”

Who are the designers that inspire you and why?

Designers such as Gucci , Armani ,Etro and Dsquared inspire me a whole lot and this is due to their ability to play with colours and also the way they create unique designs in every of their collection

What do you like and dislike about the fashion industry?

Like: The Fashion Industy; they have provided a great platform for designers to showcase their creativity to the world and that is a very good one which I like about them

Dislike: Talking about dislike, personally there isn’t any dislike for the Fashion Industry because I believe it is upcoming and all I just have to do is support the little way I can.

AFWN is in its second season, how excited are you to be a part of it?

I am excited to be a part of it because it is a platform to showcase my collection for people to see my creativity and when I say people I mean both near and far (smiles)
