Ankara Miami Fashion Week Calls On Designers

Ankara Miami is the FIRST & LARGEST major runway production in Florida featuring designers, entertainment, and art solely from Africa and the African Diaspora. They’ve expanded their annual, red-carpet event and will continue to feature even more participants from Africa, the Caribbean, and throughout the United States. Ankara Miami has worked closely with notable corporate and culturally-based brands (ex. Macy’s, Arik Air, Inglot Cosmetics, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Diaspora Arts Coalition, Fela! On Broadway, Jakmel Art Gallery, Natural Trendsetters)

February 19th through the 21st, its signature, red-carpet event will be expanded from Ankara Fashion & Cultural Show to Ankara Miami Fashion Week – Florida’s FIRST African Fashion Week. Organizers will continue to feature even more participants from Africa, the Caribbean, and throughout the United States and look forward to a continuous journey of creating buyer/investor relationships, providing exposure for media access, highlighting talent and progression within the African Diaspora, and facilitating networking opportunities between established industry professionals and aspiring newcomers.
